Check-in

In short: Checkin synchronizes participants to Make once a day, and can also automatically publish events as ready-to-use newsletter content.

Checkin and Make – automatic attendee data and event content

Does your organisation use Checkin for registrations or ticket sales? You can connect Checkin with Make so that attendees are added directly to your newsletter list – without manual uploads.

What is Checkin?

Checkin is a Norwegian registration and ticketing platform designed to simplify event administration. The service is used by both small and large organisations, including businesses, churches, sports clubs, and public institutions. Checkin is known for its user-friendliness and flexibility.

How the integration works

Make automatically synchronises attendees from Checkin once a day in batches of 1,000. Checkin is the master system, and data flows one way.

Automatic event content

An optional content integration is also available: it automatically retrieves events from Checkin via RSS and imports them as pre-formatted rows or content blocks in Make. Once you publish an event in Checkin, it appears in Make ready to drag and drop into your newsletter, with the title, image, organiser, date, time, and price already filled in. By adding the "recurring action" add-on, you can automate the entire process.

Why connect Checkin and Make?

  • No more manual lists – attendees are added automatically

  • Faster content creation – no need to enter events twice

  • Broadly applicable – works just as well for businesses as for churches, sports clubs, and public institutions

  • More time for what matters – less time on data handling, more time on content and attendee engagement
